A Focus On You

I want to help you celebrate this huge milestone in your life and create artwork you will treasure for years.

When is the next time you will have a photo session all to yourself to mark the accomplishment of one of your biggest milestones yet? Your wedding day? When your babies are born? Senior photo sessions are unique because it is quite often the first and last time a photography experience is devoted only to you.

In a world filled with the pressures and comparisons from social media, it is so important to me that everyone gets a chance to see – really see – how beautiful they are. My goal at every senior photo session is that you walk away feeling gorgeous. Whether you’re getting these photos because your mom is making you, or you’ve been dreaming of these photos for years, we will really just have fun together. The photos I love best are relaxed and authentic. No cheesy smiles or poses. We’ll find a beautiful backdrop and pretty much just laugh for an hour or two. Your mom will walk away with images that will make her cry, and you will walk away thinking modeling may not be the worst job in the world.

I offer senior photography for clients along the Front Range of Colorado including Fort Collins, Longmont, Boulder, Denver, Cherry Creek, Highlands Ranch, Westminster, Lafayette, Arvada, Aurora, Thornton, Wheatridge, Lakewood, Centennial, Broomfield, Louisville and beyond. Colorado is such a pretty state, that every year I have a handful of high school seniors fly in for their senior photo session. I pinch myself that I get to capture the beauty that is YOU. It is an honor to photograph this milestone for you.

I am an award winning photographer located in Boulder, Colorado. I specialize in senior photography and around the foothills of Boulder.

My home studio is located just a few minutes from north Boulder on our little farm where I live with my husband, son and daughter. It is surrounded by golden fields, dirt roads, mountain views and beautiful gardens.

Even though I am willing to travel in and around Boulder, I find that most of my clients ask for the fields and mountain views surrounding my studio because they are the quintessential Colorado background.

Session Details

I tend to book out 9-12+ months in advance, so be sure to reach out to me with plenty of notice, especially if you’re hoping for a sunset session. There’s always the slim chance I can fit in a senior photo session last minute, but not guaranteed, so it’s always better to book sooner than later.

ONE-HOUR SESSION
  • 1 hour photo session at the location of your choice (I will help you choose the most beautiful location for the time of year).
  • For those who want a gallery of more than 20 final images.
  • At a one-hour photo session, we’ll have plenty of time to capture a variety of moments, from posed to candid and creative.  I’ve found that an hour is the sweet spot where I have enough time to get to know my subjects and capture all the love and joy and light, while keeping little ones engaged.  It’s enough time to get several different shots, from the whole group, to individuals and any other combinations you want.  In a one hour session there is plenty of time for a couple outfit changes, and we can even drive to a couple different locations if they’re close to each other.
  • An appointment at the studio two weeks after the photo session where you can view your gallery of images and place your order.
  • $300 – Session fee (paid when booking the session).
  • $1500 – Minimum order requirement (paid towards your purchase at the purchasing appointment where you get to view your gallery or images and place your print and/or digital order). This is so that I may limit the number of sessions I book to ensure the highest quality of product and service.
TWO-HOUR SESSION
  • 2-hour photo session at the location of your choice (I will help you choose the most beautiful location for the time of year).
  • For those who want a gallery of more than 40 images.
  • Halfway through a two-hour session is when personalities begin to shine. This is the session for those wanting an incredible gallery for a custom album or wall art.
  • This photo session is perfect for those wanting a custom designed photo album, lots of variety to their gallery of images, fine art for their walls and 2-3 dramatically different locations with several outfit changes.  We can start on a hiking trail to get some big mountain views in the background, then travel 15 minutes to the country roads or golden fields.  You can bring several changes of clothes and we can pick a different spot for each outfit.  Two hours gives us a lot of time to play with light, to move slowly and not feel rushed, and to get a gallery of images that is varied.  At two-hour sessions I have plenty of time to get some classic portraits as well as some really creative fine art shots.
  • Halfway through a two-hour session is when personalities begin to shine. This is the session for those wanting an incredible gallery for a custom album or wall art.
  • An appointment at the studio two weeks after the photo session where you can view your gallery of images and place your order.
  • $475 – Session fee (paid when booking the session).
  • $2000 – Minimum order requirement (paid towards your purchase at the purchasing appointment where you get to view your gallery of images and place your print and/or digital order). This is so that I may limit the number of sessions I book to ensure the highest quality of product and service.
